unlimited connections

netChimes supports an unlimited number of server connections. This is perfect for developers or administrators that maintain several domains! You can also add friends' domains!

unlimited alerts

Each connection supports an unlimited number of Alert configurations. Each Alert, identified by a unique Alert ID, is hard-coded into the PHP on the server-side, and received by netChimes on the client side. Each Alert ID can be configured to correspond to a unique WAV sound byte to create a distinct audible alert.

unlimited clients

The server scripts can notify an unlimited number of clients. Perfect for when you want to let all of your friends hear what's going on in your server. This is a necessity for large teams with members spread over several offices, or with telecommuting members!

password protected

netChimes is password protected to protect the server scripts and server information. A netChimes client requires a valid login ID and password to log onto the server.

highly configurable scripts

netChimes Alert IDs can be added to any PHP file, including web pages and script files that pass entire files.

The netChimes client uses an attractive skinned interface!

stays out of your way...

The netChimes client can minimize to the system tray (the area beside your clock, typically on the lower right) to get out of your way. Or if preferred, standard minimization to the taskbar is an option.

When netChimes is not minimzed to the system tray or the taskbar, it can be set to remain "always on top", so that it is always visible above all other windows.
